They Hate Change and The Music Bureau present an intimate performance at Hotel Haya on Saturday, February 24th.
They Hate Change, an avant garde rap duo, is celebrating their new EP “Wish You Were Here…” — Issued exclusively on Cassette by the record label, Jagjagjuwar. The EP release represents a return to form for They Hate Change, calling back to their days of performing on 7th Avenue in the Tampa DIY Scene and handing out tapes.
Joining the duo’s group’s performance are Tampa stalwarts Vern Sr. & Sam E. Hues, both known for their laid back, lingo-infused & Blues-inflected Southern Hip-Hop, and featuring DJ Jayda Abello. Jayda is a staple Sound Selector and Curator in the burgeoning Gulf Coast rare groove scene.
Expect a musical mash up and hear their latest release in person.
